Students read a variety of books on their own and in their classrooms. This year students took a favorite book and created a book cover using the program KidPix. Once finished the students converted their drawings to a jpg file. Click on the teacher's name to see the projects.

Multiplication vs Repeated Addition
Third grade students are introduced to the skill of multiplication. They learn that multiplication is repeated addition. Students wrote story problems and then typed them into KidPix. They drew pictures to go with their problems and learned to copy and paste to reinforce the idea of repetition.
